We’re kicking off our look back at Albedo’s past storylines!

1. Albedo’s Story Quest Ending
   Albedo: “Thanks. If anything comes up, I’ll ask again.”
   There was… something uneasy about the way he said it.

2. Dragonspine Special Event Begins
   Sucrose: “Ah! Traveler! Something’s up with the Chief Alchemist—I can tell! If you’re free, could you help uncover his secret?”
   Traveler: “Just got back from the mountain… but okay!”

3. Back to Dragonspine
   Traveler & Paimon: “Albedo~!”
   Albedo: “Oh? What brings you two back? Did you lose your way again?”
   Traveler: “Are you hiding something?”
   Paimon: “Yeah! Out with it! Paimon’s got a sixth sense for secrets!”

4. A Mysterious Sword
   Albedo: “Perfect timing. I need you to take this sword—it’s part of my research, but it’s cursed and can only be wielded by you. I need combat data.”
   (Festering Desire obtained!)

5. Trouble with Treasure Hoarders
   Treasure Hoarders: “Thief!!”
   Traveler: “Calling us thieves? You’re the real ones!”
   Albedo: “That was faster than expected.”

6. Questionable Sword Origins
   Traveler: “Wait, it’s stolen?”
   Albedo: “What kind of look is that? It’s a confiscated item.”
   Traveler: “Still not great…”

7. Now the Fatui, Too
   Fatui agents attack out of nowhere.
   Albedo: “Did you provoke them somehow? Or… perhaps they’re after the sword’s power—equal to that of a god.”

8. Why the Traveler?
   Albedo: “Why entrust you with it? Perhaps... we’re both ‘anomalies.’ A shared recognition among outliers.”
   Traveler: “...Huh?”

9. Sucrose Gets Her Report
   Sucrose: “This sword is amazing! But… how did the Professor realize it was so special to begin with?”

10. Later…
    The Traveler meets the ever-unlucky Joel’s father (again), only to get ambushed by the Fatui (again).
    Albedo shows up with full-on lecture mode.

11. Festering Misunderstanding
    Frozen and exhausted, Joel’s father mistakes the Festering Desire’s glow for warmth. The Traveler tries to stop him—
    …and gets touched. Awkwardly.

12. The Real Threat Appears
    The impact tosses the sword, and the dormant power of Durin seeps into the land…
    —awakening a Cryo Regisvine!
    Albedo: “Everyone, prepare for battle!” (Cool team leader moment!)

13. After the Battle
    Albedo: “I’ve extracted all of the purified life essence from the sword. It’s yours now.”
    Final Monologue
    Albedo: “The dragon’s power resonates with me…
    Not because I’m a dragon. But because of causality.
    Master Rhinedottir… Is this what became of Durin, your creation?
    Was this encounter truly meant to happen…?”
